"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you could open the files, copy the code fragments, open a new excel 2010 spreadsheet and paste the code in corresponding modules.
Then check the correct working of the code fragments line-by-line by stepwise executing them.

When correct working has been verified, save the spreadsheet as an excel 2010 add-in. When the code gives errors or you need specific help, please post the sections that give problems here.

An excel add-in regularly is made in excel, where does visual studio comes in ?
