Sharepoint schema issue after security update
Hi Guys,
After a few security updates for Sharepoint 2010, the schema seems to be out of date. This has stopped the Foundation Search. The error is below:
The mount operation for the gatherer application 2235b1e6-ddf4-4197-aa5c-3f 735b8dc362 has failed because the schema version of the search administration database is less than the minimum backwards compatibility schema version supported for this gatherer application. The database might not have been upgraded.
What do I need to do here and what are the best practices for applying updates to Sharepoint? I assume all updates increase the schema version?
