Does the 2011 Mac mini work with the mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter?

i purchased a mac mini 2011 recently, it's the new one released in july 2011, 2.3Ghz i5 and i bought a mini displayport to vga adapter since i only want to use my VGA monitor, my question is : Does the 2011 Mac mini work with the mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter?

What do you think? over thunderbolt port?

From looking at the specs, it appears that the new Mac Mini's do NOT support the mini display port adaptor  dongle. Their video is either through the Thunderbolt port or the HDMI port. The mini should come with a HDMI to DVI adapter. Thunderbolt port, I think, only works with TB monitors, and there is perhaps one or two that support that. I looked in the on-line Apple store and didn't see any HDMI to VGA adapter, but I suppose some third party might make that.

i have one like the one you posted, for your concern, this one will work for sure with Thunderbolt port. Try it out and tell me the outcome.
