Computer Configuration shows No data available when gpresults /h is run
-Windows 7
-User is a meber of the local admin group
-Machine is part of the OU that the GPO is being applied to
-filtered by authenticated users
-the GPMC GPO Results is showing that the policies are being applied
-RSOP shows the GPO and the presedence reflects the policy. But the RSOP doesn't show the administrative template

Just to double-check, did you run Gpresult from an elevated (a.k.a. admin privileges) command prompt?

You cant even do the ipconfig /registerdns when the elevated command prompt is not opened. Use the elevated command to see the results. As per Run5k's comment he is absolutely right.
use the command gpresult /user username /h GroupPolicy.html to view the results.

Thanks Run5k that was the issue. What I did was removed UAC and it worked for me without doing a run as.
