lcd backlight

replaced it with
benq s72 14.0 wxga lcd backlight
bl


is it OK? there not the same image if you look at them, but they have the same input/output pins 6pins and 2pins

any idea?

By comparing the two plugs its difficult to say if the two would be suitable for each other. I am not sure if there is a standard for the input to that card.
Some time part cannot be swapped within the same company for different versions of their models.

You will need to have some document which tell you that the two are compatible.

If you take a gamble and plug in the power it may work or cause some damage to the card due to wrong voltage on different legs.

You can have a look at this site to search for some documentation.
They are mentioning of comatability, its best that you confirm.

the inverters need to have the same voltages, and frequency  in order to work
in general - it is NOT recommended using other ones - unless they are listed as compatible

if none, then I think theres no way I can figure it out.
