Macintosh: Download with XP

1) I am used to with the Microsoft Window
2) I am not familiar with the Macintosh OS
3) I have a MacBook Pro, and I want to upgrade it to Mac OSX Lion
4) I can download it (say it from
5) My question: When downloading "this files", It is OK if I use the Microsoft XP or I have to use the Mac OS?

    Download it with Mac OS.  You'll be saving your self the step of copying it over the Mac anyways if you download it through Microsoft Windows.

    You can use Bootcamp to run MAC OS X and WIndows OS

    1. I just tried and it does not work.  It has to be done with a Mac using Safari.

    2. See the link below on how to make a bootable disc.  It can only be done after downloading the install file.
