Citrix and Lotus Notes. Lotus Notes starts to flickers.

I've got a strange situation with Citrix and Lotus Notes.
Their are using Citrix Client 12.1 and Citrix Reciver 3.0(Windows), server are Xenapp 5.0

It they have Citrix up and running and they recive and e-mail i Lotus Notes(local app),  then suddenly Lotus Notes starts flickering and the view switches from the local app(Lotus Notes) over to the Citrix app.

Anyone got any ideas?

How do you publish applications? As individual applications or as a published desktop?

Can you turn off the notification in the Notes client?

Is the Citrix server fully patched? I've seen references to a few flickering issues but mostly around multiple monitors.

We use both,  individual applications and published desktop.

We can try(Notification in Lotus Notes) but everything works fine if we don't have citrix up and running.

Yes, the server is more or less fully patched.

I've seen som issues around this myself, But it referes to WPF and notes..

Yeah I saw that.

Hmm - so the screen flickers regardless of whether it's a full screen or seamless app?

How about if you, as an admin, were to connect to a desktop via the RDP client - same result? Might be worth checking we're looking at a Citrix issue.
