Rollback whole package settings in case error occurs in SSIS packages

Hello,

I am importing data from flat files to database. For avoiding inconsistency; if error occurs during execution of package then whole package should be rollback.

So, what I did that I marked TransactionOption = "Required". But when I tried to this then it says MSDTC service should run. Okay, I ran that service as well.
As destination server is on remote, then it does say Allow Inbound/Outbound setting needs to be done. But still, it is giving an error DTC error.

My question is that

1. Can anyone give step wise screen shots for setting MSDTC?

Best Regards,
Mohit Sharma

Below is the error:

The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D025 "The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions

Apart from this, I don't have SSIS service installed on my machine. But I can run SSIS directly from BIDS (Business Intelligence Development Studio). Does it affect?

Hey make sure if destination server is remote then MSDTC needs to be enabled in remote server as well and check inbound and outbound request in MSDTC.

Can it be possible due to SSIS Service? Like I aforesaid, I don't have SSIS service installed on my machine. I am using directly BIDS for making packages as I can't execute package directly as I don't have SSIS service.

Any feedback?
