Microsoft jet database enginer error


I was importing data from an excel sheet , then this error occured.

The microsoft jet databse enginer could not find the object pid_import......please see if the name or spelling is correct...

You did not identify what the object pid_import refers to in your it a column (field), a named range, or ?

This link below is an excellent reference for you to look at because it walks you through different scenarios and listing the error message received based on the scenario.  The final cause for the error in the thread below is that the worksheet was on a local machine and had to be moved to the server in order for the SQL query to find it.
