Hyper-V Logical Processors vs Number of VMs

Probably a dumb question but with Hyper-V can I have more VMs than I have logical processors?  I have 16 logical processors and I want to create 18 VMs.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes of course. You can make even 6 VM maschines on one core.

There should be no issues with running 18 VMs on a total of 16 processor cores. CPU Cores and Performance is not often the bottleneck in the Hypervisor, but total memory in the server.
