Certificate Error

When my users go to our webmail server, they are presented with an error that reads "There is a problem with this website's security certificate", "The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address."

I have no idea how to fix this.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You will need to either have them install the certificate or purchase and install a trusted one. Which version of Exchange are you running?

I like using Digicert, they are more expspensive though: http://www.digicert.com/unified-communications-ssl-tls.htm

At the bottom of the page are links to instructions on how to request, install, they also have a video.

You will need to renew this yearly or order multiple years up front.

What's the URL your users are going to?

What's the CN name of the certificate?

Where did you get this certificate? (chances are it's a self-signed certificate from microsoft).

You'll need to buy a SAN certificate (best suitable for exchange servers), with the proper CNs and install it on IIS, and bind it to owa

Alternatively, you can issue a cert from your own CA (if you have one) and install this root certificate on all clients through group policy so it's trusted
