Trying to use Scan To Email on Konica Minolta Bizhub C220 and am receiving error 535

I'm trying to set up a Konica Minolta Bizhub c220 for a friend at his company and no matter what I try when sending a scan to email all jobs throw the 535 error code. Does anyone know what this means? I can't find this code online anywhere.

Response from a someone I know at KM:

Not sure what that error code means. Check to see whether internal relay is switched on. If not and they won’t allow it. Then you need to populate the email settings with a valid email address and password. You can test with a staff member to see if it works.

They do say to otherwise log a call with KM and they'd help directly in most cases.
