rajsdca--Your second screenshot shows that Google is now your Search provider. Do you want another search provider? Read this http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/7966/ie9-how-do-i-add-or-change-search-engines/ In any event, remove Google from the current list of Search Providers. Then add one or more search providers you want from those offered. You can add Google back if you wish. Then make one the Default.
You also can choose to use a search provider other than the one you have made Default on a "one off" basis by clicking the down arrow at the end of the Address Bar and choosing the icon of the search bar you want to use for that search from those that appear at the bottom left of that drop down list.
Unable to remove remove Google from the current list of Search Providers.

rajsdca--How did you try to remove Google?
IE Tools|Manage Add-Ons|Search Providers. Highlight some other Search Provider|right click it|Set as Default. Now you should be able to go to Google|highlight it|click Remove.
If you do not already have some other Search Provider in the list (as indicated in your screenshot) and cannot Remove Google when it is the only one in the list, put another Search Provider in the list per the info provided earlier and then follow the procedure in the last paragraph to Remove Google.
rajsdca--Were you able to add Bing to the IE Tools|Manage Add-Ons|Search Providers list? If you were able to add Bing to the list, why can't you make Bing the Default? (In what step is that prevented?) The normal procedure would be to highlight Bing in the list and then click the Set as Default button.
If you were not able to add Bing to the Search Provider list, try from this site http://www.ieaddons.com/us/addons/default.aspx#/search

rajsdca--If the Search Provider screen does not allow change to Bing, your installation of IE may remain corrupted. You can uninstall IE9 and then reinstall.

I uninstalled ie9 and reverted to ie8 and I still have the same exact problem.
rajsdca--If you have followed the directions on the IE Tools|Manage Add-0ns|Search Providers window and either clicked on "Find more search providers..." at the bottom left or used the site http://www.ieaddons.com/us/addons/default.aspx#/search , I do not know what more to say.
By the way, did you get rid of those error messages you showed in your first screenshot?
You can reinstall IE9 if you want. It has better security functions than IE8.

No the error screens are still there.
If you come up with any other ideas let me know.
Thanks

rajsdca--Did you try sekarc4u's suggestion? Creating a new User Account might be the simplest idea.
Remember to back up the Registry before making changes.
