MS paint issue

I keep using paint in order to watch some CCNP & CCSP videos on Windows Media, and it seems as though whenever I do print screen on a video and paste it to paint, the image is not captured properly.  I keep getting a blank black page.

How can I make sure that what I PRINT SCREENED will be captured properly?  Lastly, Is there another tool I can use for this that might be better for this type of capture?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

In the Windows Media Player, go Tools > Options > Performance tab > Advanced button > untick "Use Overlays" > OK

Now you can capture screenshots from movies.

cheers, teylyn
