I have an Exchange 2010 server that was rebuilt from a server crash. I have been able to recover most items. However, I was not able to save the resource mailboxes and had to setup new ones. I re-setup 1 room and 5 equipment resource mailboxes and turned on the auto attendant.
Everything seems to be working except that the users have advised that when the used to book a meeting/appointment for a choose the room or equipment for the resource field that it would prompt if the item was already booked thus to prevent it being double booked. Now the items is allowed to process then they get an email a few seconds after hitting save/close advising that the request has been denied if it is already booked.
I have not found any settings that would initiate this prompt and the usercode for the mailbox is disabled in AD so I am wondering if someone could help me with this.
A little back ground info it is helps. Previous resources were migrated from 2003 server, these ones are obviously now new. The users are using outlook 2007 and a couple of 2010. I have 1 delegate for each resource.
