Domain forwarding to dynamic page

We recently removed a site we've been running for an affiliate.  Instead, we decided to forward
the domain to our main site, along with an affiliate id:  http://www.ourdomain.com/index.asp?aid=44

So the goal was to forward the other site:  http://www.othersite.com/  to the link above.

So we forwarded the domain in GoDaddy.  After the domain propigated, the "othersite.com" domain, now points to nothing - the name servers are GoDaddy's, the fowarding is set correctly, but it won't redirect.

It's only been 24 hours - but I'm wondering if there's a limitation when forwarding domains.

Is it possible to forward a domain like that?  to a dynamic page?

Thanks for your help!

Not via DNS, you will need to setup a redirect in your web server.

can i redirect it to a page without the id?  like http://www.ourdomain.com/landingpage.asp
and then put the redirect in there?

No you can't use DNS for anything past the TLD (.com)

I should say can't be used for anything to the right of the TLD.

This should be done in your web server.
