Can you explain more about what you are trying to accomplish? I'm not sure how you imported the table and what you mean about dragging the table to create an object.

There are a number of things you can do with Visio and Access. For example:

If you want to create a database model from an existing database, you can do that in the Professional and Premium editions of Visio 2010. Simple click the Reverse Engineer button on the Database tab and point to your Access database.

If you want to create Visio shapes for each row of data in an Access table and populate the shapes with Access data, you can do that using data linking in Professional and Premium.  Click the Link Data to Shapes button on the Data tab.
