Discovery process fails XenApp 6.5

This is a new farm, fresh install.
When I run the discovery process for the first time I get a error "Errors occurred when using serverxxx in the discovery process.  If I click on the discovery I get "This user account is not an administrator of this farm, or there was a problem contacting the data store. Check that the data store server for the Citrix XenApp farm is online, and verify that your account is configured and enabled as an administrator on the farm."

How do I resolve this?
Please help!

How do I add my account in AppCenter?  Where?
There is no "administrator" node in AppCenter to add the account.

As the title of my post says "Discovery process fails XenApp 6.5".  This is a fresh install.  The initial discovery process does NOT work.
The error I get is "This user account is not an administrator of this farm, or there was a problem contacting the data store. Check that the data store server for the Citrix XenApp farm is online, and verify that your account is configured and enabled as an administrator on the farm"

The farm has not yet been created.  The initial discovery process fails.
How can I add a user to administer the farm if the farm has not yet been created?

If I load XenApp Server Role Manager, under the XenApp heading I have a green check next to "Licensing Specified" and I have a green check next to "Configured".
Under the License Server heading I have a green check next to "Configured".

So, the farm has been installed, correct?

Okay, let me ask the next stupid question.  How do I "install the farm"?

I have already gone through the process of "creating the farm" when I installed XenApp Server.

I believe I used the local Administrator account.  If I use that to run discovery I am not given the option to use Active Directory for the Central Store location.   Is there a way to run the discovery with the local Administrator account and still use AD for the central store location?

The SSO asks for a NTFS share, is this something that was setup during the install process?  Where is this directory at?  Can I move it to a A/D location later?

Okay, I think I'm good.  You ready for my next round of questions?
Thank you!
If I have the time.  I am writing a big report for a customer and getting ready for VMware 5 training next week.
