I'm googling for Gridview to see if it has a single or double click event for rows. I've found questions poeple ask about it (someone said to have a select column)..so not sure if it does have it or not...

I know Telerik grid has it but what about Gridview?

You can create a javascript event on the row to create a single/double click event, other than that there is not built in way unless you interact with a control in the row which fires the OnRowCommand event.
