how to update an image (.wim) file

I have an image file (.wim) that need to be load and update with the latest windows updates.  What do I need to do after mounting it.  I can see files in the directory where I've mounted the .wim file.  What do I next?

thanks, but I need to clarify what I want to do.  

I need to load the .wim image to a hyper-v VM so that I can do windows updates on it and then put it back to a .wim format.  How can I do that?
its a process, I may have time later to look it up but it requires using imageX and DSIM
