Macintosh: Command Line

HI,

1) I am used to with the Microsoft Window
2) I am not familiar with the Macintosh OS
3) I saw some MacBoox (The OS is Mac OS X 10.6.8) at a company (production environment)
4) My question: How to open a command line at this MacBoox? (In Windows XP, I navigate to Start > Run> type in: command ........then the command line's window will appear)
5) Thanks

It's called Terminal and it's in Applications, Utilities.  Or you can probably search for it.
It's Unix commands so similar to DOS but different commands.
