seeking a specific type of slideshow / image preview script

I am looking for a specific type of slideshow / image preview java script. I need to be able to use it with multiple images on the same page, have a caption, scroll left / right, and ideally also change the style / colors / etc of the slideshow window

(I tried to pick apart the source of this page, but I couldn't figure it out - I'm a sysadmin, not a coder...)

Click on the satellite image in the upper right corner (caption: "On its way. The Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite....")

The simpler to copy / paste / alter the script, the better. The slideshow data may be contained within the HTML file, or in a separate JS file, flat text file or XML file - no databases involved. The script should be compatible with all major browsers / IE / FF / Safari / Chrome.
