HP Color LaserJet CP3505 Printers

I am getting a fuser error 50.2 error message when I print an envelope. The printer works fine when printing other documents.

I read several threads on this issue and I do not see a complete fix for this issue...
one - replace the printer fuser
two - upgrade the printer firmware

Any thoughts?

I meant no disrespect to you or Whosaidthat, I was just frustrated with this printer. I appreciate all of your help.

I changed the printing quality mode for the envelops to rough mode on the printer and this seems to be helping so far.

Whosaidthat: I will try these tips if this printer starts acting up again.

correct me if I am wrong but the three suggested soluctions are: upgrading the firmware, reolacing the fuser, and changing the sleep time and now of these worked so far.

are you sure the  replaced fuse was ok ? normally, that's the cure

and this "50.2 is fuser warmup service meaning the fuser is not reaching the desired temp for the job. From what i can gather, this has been a persisting issue with this particular printer. HP has not yet acknowledged there's a legitimate problem with their firmware.

Here's how I'm remediating the issue.
I changed the settings via the printer's web interface so that printing envelopes occurred in normal mode. I set the printer to wake up at 8 am every weekday, and I extended the sleep timer to 4 hours so the printer would sleep less.

This does not solve the issue, merely skirt around the trigger events, which seem to be printing envelopes in envelope mode and from sleep.
