I am running VMware 5.0 and I am trying to find the install for VMware tools for my Windows 2008 server, do you know where I would install it from? I see my other VM have it but I just created this new server and can’t figure out how to install it.
Thanks

From the VMWare menu (one of them), choose "Install VMWare tools". Make sure the guest's CD/DVD drive is free to be used by the VMWare Tools package.

You install VMware Tools from the Virtual Machine Menu.
Make sure you have a CDROM device in the virtual machine, because it mounts the VMware Tools (windows.iso) to the CDROM, and then it may autorun, otherwise, just double click the Setup on the CDROM device.
