I am trying to create a script (see database attached) that will only leave records that are unique based on a specified field. Is this possible with filemaker pro11?

You almost have it. All you needed to do is change your Find Request for duplicates from "Find Records" to "Omit Records". Using "Find Records" and the exclamation point will find all records for which more than one entry exists with the same value. If you use the duplicate criteria, but set it to "Omit Records" instead of "Find Records", it will instead only show those record that DO NOT have duplicates, in other words, your unique records.
