asked on

Macintosh: To backup the DNS setting

Hi,
1) I am used to with the Microsoft Window and (a little bit of) Linux Operating system
2) I am not familiar with the Macintosh OS
3) I saw some MacBook (The OS is Mac OS X 10.6.8) at a company (production environment)

4) If I want to backup the original setting of the DNS (at Linux Ubuntu), I will do this command:
sudo cp /etc/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf_backup

5) My question: How to do it on MacBook? The same?

thanks,
tjie
