Embedded Google Map doesn't load in IE

I have an embedded Google map at www.mauitradewinds.com/location.htm,  and it has stopped loading the indicator showing our location, under IE. It still works under Firefox and Safari.  The map worked under IE until today, when I made some changes unrelated to the map code.  However, once it stopped working, it didn't help to undo those changes.  Please advise how to get it working again under IE.

Further details:  Here is the error which IE reports:

and: clearing the browsing history stops this from happening -- i.e., the map plugin works -- but only once, and then the error appears again.
http://www.mauitradewinds.com/location.htm is working for me in the following browsers

Chrome 14.0.835.202 (Mac OS X)
Safari 5.1 (Mac OS X)
Firefox 6.0 (Mac OS X)
Internet Explorer 8 (Windows XP)
Safari 5.0 (Windows XP)
Chrome 14.0.835.202 m (Windows XP)
Opera 11.10 (Windows XP)
Firefox 3.6.20 (Windows XP)

You may want to check out http://browsershots.org/ to see how it comes up on other computers.

Thank you for all your testing!  So I guess the problem is with my browser, and not the web page.  I have to delete my browsing history every time I view the map, or the error occurs.  This happens on a desktop and a laptop.  Any idea how to remedy that?
I missed the part about it working once and then not working again. I opened the page up in IE 8 again and got the error. Refreshing the page would sometimes give the error and sometimes not give the error.

So, I did some digging and it sounds like it's a common problem, but most of the people having the problem were posting back around 2009. I did find http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=151019 which might offer the solution. It's possible that you need to rename something.

This page points to a problem with IE, but I can't imagine that IE still doesn't support the version of JavaScript required http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?560983-Javascript-error-in-IE7-when-embedding-google-maps

If you run the site locally, does it work in IE?

Thank you for all your research.  I expect Google will develop a fix for this.  I tried the Aardvark map, and I would probably use that if Google doesn't solve the problem.  With that third-party solution, the text which is supposed to be associated with a custom icon doesn't display under any browser, and the map depends on the Aardvark server.   In the meanwhile, I'm thinking of leaving the existing map code on my page.  Unless a visitor is using IE, and visits the map twice, they are most likely to see a working display.
