Installing COM addin on Windows Server 2008 running Remote Desktop Services

Hi,

I have installed Remote Desktop Services on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2.
Next I installed MS Office.

Finally I had to install a COM addin (a plugin to MS Office) which needs to be installed separately for each user.

So I first logged in the server with the Administrator account and everything worked fine: when I launched Office the plugin was up and running.

Next I logged in as another user, to which I temporarily gave Administrator privileges in order to install the same plugin for that user: in this case I can install the COM addin but it won't load/run when I start Office.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot

Do you have any GPO set restricting software or outlook features?

What specific fields would you look for in GPO?

software restriciton policy is under "user configuration-->Security settings-->Software restriction pol."

office requires a custom set of adm templates to be imported in gpmc, so if you didn't install these, then that won't be the problem.
