Creating another instance of SQL Server 2008

I already have 1 instance of SQL Server 2008 R2 express edition installed on a server - SQL Server 10.50.1600.1. and I want to create another instance. If I go to the server properties, it shows the Product as Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition with Advanced Services (64 bit).

I could not find anywhere that specify that SP2 has been installed except in Programs and Features where I can see that there are and other related SQL Server stuff:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (English)
Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU

My question is when I try to install another instance of SQL Server 2008 Express Edition with Advance Services - SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe I get the attached warning asking to installed SP1 or later. Is that normal?

Thanks theruck, so is it normal for the existing SQL Server 2008 express edition to be using Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU instead of Microsoft SQL Server Express 3.5 SP2 ENU?
After trying to continue installation by run program, it shows another warning as attached. Not sure what I'm missing here.

The above SQL Server Setup Failure goes away after another attempt.

Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 avoided the need to install SP later on.
