Horizontal axis alternate dates

My horizontal axis is showing the following dates:


The data range which the axis is linked to is:


How can I show the exact dates, not alternate?

Not sure what you mean by "alternate".

When your axis values are dates/times, Excel will try to fill in "missing" time intervals, which is desirable behavior if you are trying to represent time series information.

To force Excel not to do that, in Excel 2007/2010:

1) Right click the axis, and select Format Axis from the popup
2) On Axis Options, for Axis Type, select "Text axis" (default will be "Automatically select based on data")

It was the size of the graph being displayed. When I increased the size more dates were shown.
