backup exec 11 backup hardware software

currently i have backup exec 11 running on a winxp pro box with an attached 2tb raid drive. it works well, however, i am running into space problems.
i think i saw somewhere that winxp pro has a 2tb drive limit - i am assuming because my winxp pro is 32 bit.
does a wndows 64bit system not have a 2tb limit?
also, would there be better solutions for backing up now? i have had backup exec 11 for a while and i assume better things have come along since i got this.
i backup a squel server, and file sharing server.

The 2 Tb limit in xp can be circumvented by using GUID Partition Table  instead of MBR or by using a 4k/sector drive instead of a 512 byte/sector.

Not sure what the 64-bit limitation is.
