We are running Ghost Solutions Suite version 2.5.1 program version 22.214.171.1246. We are currently in need of patch 2269 (126.96.36.1999). At one point Symantec was release this hotfix which takes care of the following:
•One-click Virtual partition does not work on the Lenovo M57P / M58P desktop computer
•Adding a Mass Storage driver to WinPE 2.1 causes Ghost to hang in the PreOS
•After installing the GSS2.5, the Ghost console server, Ghost Boot Wizard and Ghost explorer do not launch.
•Using Ghost32.exe for Hot imaging fails to execute on client machine.
•Client replication observed when upgrade from GSS older version to GSS 2.5.1
Yesterday Symantec told me to research the forums. I then find out that for some reason they stopped providing the patch via symantec forum.
I was wondering if there is any way to obtaining without paying for a support agreement. I find it absurd that we must pay for a patch when we have been a loyal symantec customer for many years.
