Hello.  We have an MSAccess application with a Sql Server back end and are being asked if there are any known problems running it on Hyper V.   I do not know much about Hyper V servers and cannot find any answers.

...MSAccess application is a 2003 version app and has migrated from 2000.  It runs fine in MSAccess 2010.  (skipped 2007 because of problems)  ODBC'd to sql server 2008 OR 2005.

Does anyone know of any issues or complications running on Hyper V?

    Accepted Solution

Hyper V should be "transparent" for your application. There will be no more problems, then in simple server installation.
