asked on 

installing ssl certificat from godaddy

i just bought a standard ssl certificate from goddady. after all the approval , i am able to download the certs.

in that cert i only have two file
gd_bundle.crt
[mydomainname].crt

where is the .key files

The private key would be on the machine where you created your CSR to submit to GoDaddy.

The .key files should be on your server, that is how the csr is generated.

and where i am suppose to find it

when i have create my ssl i only have 2 file

[domain].com
[doman].crt

By that information, your key is mydomain.com

can i change the name mydomain.com to mydomain.key?

The file would be located in the same directory you ran the openssl command in.

Yes you can rename it, and I suggest doing so to prevent confusion in the future.

now when i try to connect to mydomain with https i got the following error
