How to cluster an existing Exchange 2007 server

I am going to install a new mail server on a remote network and I would like to cluster this new server with the pre-existing Exchange 2007 server.

What steps do I need to take to create a cluster in Exchange 2007 using a server that already has Exchange 2007 running on it but does not have the Active clustered Mailbox role on it?

Do I need to reinstall Exchange 2007 on the original mail server and remove the current mailboxes?

you cannot cluster an already existing exchange 2007 you will need to create a cluster (brand new 2 machines) and move all mailboxes to them and then decomission the old one

After reviewing the process for setting up the cluster I was afraid that was going to be my only alternative. Thank you for your swift response.
