Crystal Report Linking where link may contain nulls

Hi All

I have a situation where I have 3 datasources in the database expert.
There is a main table which contains a complete list of data that I want ( Ive checked the query, the total number of records agree with the front end and there is no duplicates )

I have two descriptions fields which are contained in two other command query datasources.
I linked them in the database expert but it ends up excluding 425 records because there are nulls in the main table.

How do I handle these nulls? I just want no field description to come through if there isnt one... not to exclude the record entirely....

thanks!

Change the joins to LEFT OUTER

In the linking expert
Right click one of the join lines
Click CHANGE JOIN
Choose LEFT OUTER

Left Outer Join
TableA Left Outer Join TableB
Select all records from TableA and the matching records from TableB

By default joins are INNER
TableA INNER Join TableB
Select all records from TableA that have a matching record in TableB
