ASP To PDF

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice for a good ASP to PDF, I have tried ASPPDF and ABCPDF.

I had problems install AbcPDF on our server although it looks good.

AspPDF is nice and easy.

In particular I am looking to;

1. PDF a ASP page
2. add watermarks
3. Merge several PDF's
4. convert doc/xls/xlsx/docx to pdf

Also if I had Adobe Acrobat installed on our server can I not use this to produce the PDF's?

Hi

I've used both to do the first 3 of your requirements, they both perform very well.

I have one gripe with ABCPDF, it does not handle images very well when converting html to pdf.

I use them both by just using the equivilant convertHtml/addUrl... methods and ASPPdf includes the images no problem. I've tried altering the paths many different ways for ABC and the images never show properly, always seems to be  a problem with the paths/permisions.

I don't think you can use Acrobat alone to produce the pdfs, you would probably need the PDF library sdk:

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/pdf/library.html#av

Which I guess is what ABC and Persists have used.
