Problems sending a link from IE to someone using Outlook 2010

If I am reading a story on Internet Explorer and I would like to send someone a link to the story that I am reading, I right click on the text and I get an option to "email with Windows Live".  I do not use Windows live but only Outlook 2010.  I want to send the link using Outlook not Live.  I have tried to change the default email but still not working.

Alternatively, you can customize the Command menu bar, and add the action via an icon.

Thanks Jessc7, but I can't seem to find this menu to add tools.  Where is it?

You might need to restart the browser for the default email client change to take effect.

Then you would need to navigate back to the page where the story is

Alternatively you could right click the link and select Copy Shortcut.

Then open Outlook, create a new message and paste the link(shortcut) into the body of the email, fill out the rest eg To and Subject fields.
