Google Mail Not Receiving

Posted on 2011-10-06

I have never had this problem before. I am suddenly unable to receive mail to my google mail account. I can, however, send mail.

I use this particular email account as my "final destination" account. So, I have several other accounts forwarding incoming mail to this one.

Does anyone know why this might be happening and what I can do about it?

    I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is related to the forwarding.  Need to either see some headers from one of these mails sent to a recipient that is not rejecting it, and/or mail logs from your client when trying to send to gmail, and/or any NDR or bounce messages.  Also try sending from and to different gmail accounts.

    You can get support from Google. I hope they will help us find out the issue.

    NXDOMAIN == Non-existent domain.

    Yep.. that was it. All related to a domain that I had allowed to expire. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
