Powershell CSV Query

Heyas,

I was wondering is their anyway to export the results of the "Start Transcript" function to specific column in a csv file instead just a txt file.

Thank you.

you could read csv file into a datatable and then save results of the function to a particular column of a datatable and then write datatable to another csv

What do you mean by datatable.

Thank you.

Start-Transcript, Set-PsDebug and Set-TraceSource do not support CSV files. Since those are debugging commands, the use of a CSV file would be questionable - the output isn't formatted in any way.

Of course you can create a CSV file from the generated transcript any time.
