Solved MasterPage

I want to use a masterpage in my site. But would like to use a banner at the default.aspx page with a header of 450 px,  and a header of 200 px in other pages. Is possible only with one master page.

    yes, definitely u can do this. Please add header placeholder on master page. Create your header dynamically and add it to placeholder.

    It is possible.  You could either write code to detect the default.aspx page and show the larger banner or you could simply have two master pages - one for the default.aspx page and another for everything else.  I would probably go with having multiple master pages myself.
