History of oracle database growth

using dba_tab_modifications I can see dml count history for my tables,but what if I want to see this history reflected in size ;what should I do?

select * from DBA_HIST_TBSPC_SPACE_USAGE

or sample the size of objects periodically and store it in a table of your design to find trending
