Outlook 2003 attachments not visible

I have a user that is unable to see the attachments in Outlook. She receives the email with the attachment and I can see the paper clip. However, when I open the email, the attachment is not visible. I discovered that I can right click on the email and select view attachments and they are there. Why are they not showing up when I open the email?

Check that SP3 is installed

Alternativley this could be a result from having an antivirus (Or Similar) application installed on the PC.

Try opening outlook in Safe Mode
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /safe

Then check the attachments
If it works in safe mode, then its likely a 3rd party app is interfearing
Go through the OUltook Add-Ins and disable one at a time until you find the faulting one.

lastly, it could just be views are screwed up
You can reset outlook to its default settings by closing and opening OUtlook Using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanviews
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /firstrun

thank you apache09. The Outlook commands did not fix the problem, but the upgrade to SP3 took care of it.
