dsa.msc command not working

whenever I log into domain controller and type the command dsa.msc i am getting following error messages.

"Data from <dc name> is not available from domain controller <dc> because the search filter cannot be recognized"

can you delete the file
c:\Documents and Settings\<Admin user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\MMC\DSA

and tell me if everything is ok ?
