free html editor

Hi guys

I am looking for a free html editor and ftp, so i can modify my pages and upload it to my wb site, I used dreamweaver but in this new computer i do not have a license for it, so i was looking for free editor and ftp software.
Any sugestion

you could try notepad++ or jedit for starters for simple editing, using a ftp client to upload to your site like filezilla, you could also have a go with netbeans  this will format and highlight you code and handle uploading
