Hi All,

I have SQL Server 2008 express installed already with several databases running and I want to install SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition on the same PC. Is this ok to do?

Are there any issues I should know about?

    Accepted Solution

During Installation of SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition, you will be given an option to upgrade an existing Database Instance or Create a New Instance. Choose a New Instance with a Non-Conflicting name and you should be good to go!
