Publish Exchange 2010 (CAS server) through TMG or alternatives
Hi,
We are migrating to Exchange 2010.
We are going to be have the following architecture:
2 CAS ARRAY with WNLB / HUB servers
2 MBX
We have seem that static nat at the firewall level to the CAS server doesn't seem the way to go because it doesn't seem to be secure enough, not supported by MSs (only best effort) and you will have to go with a full blone access from a public IP to the CAS private IP address in order to get Active Sync and WebApp access working.
That being said, I was hoping for someone to verify if TMG Standard can be used to acomplish the reverse proxy that is needed for Ex2010 to work.
Would a 1 CPU VM be enough to handle from 20 to 50 concurrent connections?
Also are there other alternatives available to TMG? Anything that has a lower cost?
Thank you
