Camera transfer, "Fail USB Connecting" error

Trying to connect SC-HMX10C camera to my Win 7 64bit computer to transfer recorded video, but it says Fail USB Connecting. Tried 2 different usb cables, same error both times.

I need this more than you can imagine.

    Got it to transfer, it said "USB Disconnected" on the screen but it worked anyway.
