DELL PERC 6/i Battery

Hi All: I have a Dell PowerEdge 2970 with a PERC 6/i with the latest firmware.  It's running w2k8r2.

OpenManage is stating the battery is charging... it's been like this for a few days...should I be concerned?

Name: Battery 0
State: Charging
Predicted Capacity Status: Ready
Learn State: Idle
Next Learn Time: 24 days 3 hours
Maximum Learn Delay: 7 days 0 hours
Learn Mode: Auto

if the battery is not getting to a fully charged state, I would shut down your server for a bit during after hours and turn it back on.  if that doesn't ork, contact DELL for a replacement.  you won't lose any data if the battery dies.  It is there to help prevent data loss in the event of a power outage.
Hi, Restrart the server
go into Dell BIOS might be u need to press for that ctrl+m or control + R

then go into objects there is the option for the reset the battery counter

reset the same and then exit

reboot server. after that nearby 3 hrs. will take for the battery charging. if after that it shows same then you need to change ROMB battery.
I have seen Open Manage missreport this before, Check the actual controller log and see if it states charging complete. if it does not, check the relative and absoluate state of charge and see if relative is below 40%.
