Unable to uninstall the "Support.com Toolbar" (Ask.com based) on Windows Vista Home Premium

I am trying to remove the Support.com toolbar installed on a computer I am working on.

When I try to run the uninstall process from the control panel, I get a "Error 2738. Could not access VBScript run time for custom action." error.

I have already tried the process described here.

I did get a dialog box that said the service was registered, but the same error appeared when I tried to uninstall the toolbar again.

This did it. Something just was not right with the install of it, everything else always seemed to not take effect on it. There is other issues at play here, but removal of the toolbar, this did it.

Thank you
